When did you first hear of Kill Rock Stars?
1993, at a club in LA
How did you come to work at Kill Rock Stars?
I heard they were looking for a production person, and I got an interview...they didn't hire me then, but called me back 9 months later and offered me the job.
What do you do at KRS?
Production, I deal with all aspects of the music and art, upload content to our digital distributors, and do some marketing stuff . Plus a bunch of other random stuff.
What do you like best about your job?
listening to the music, looking at the art, going to shows, hanging out with the cool bands/people I work with.

Monk-E-mail...becasue I laugh so hard just coming up with stuff for the monkeys to say, and laugh even harder, when someone sends me a good one.

When was the last time you did karaoke and why?
San Francisco , June 2007, hanging out with Deerhoof, Xiu Xiu, NUmbers , and Erase Errata, plus the lovely Marissa ( FourPaws Media ), Portia, and Maggie.
What is your best story from tour (yours or anyone else's)?
only have good show stories..nothing from the one tour I have been on, or at least nothing I can write about here.
When was the last time you played music live, and was it in a freeform noise band?
last week..in a garage..not in a noise band...but I have been thinking about drum circles lately..even though I play bass and guitar
When was the last time you ate pizza, and what was on it?
I cooked pizzas at a birthday party two days ago...I ate the veggie one ( zucchini, roasted red peppers,calamata olives, red onion, and fresh tomatoes with red sauce..but I also made pesto pizza, and some of the pizza had pepperoni!
What was the last live band you saw and when?
Pierced Arrows last weekend in Portland
Who is playing soon that you are looking forward to seeing?
Stereo Total, Mika Miko, Yo Majesty, and Sean Lennon
What was the last thing you learned about that made you excited/mad/inspired?
I found out I am going to be hanging out in Panama for a couple of weeks in October!

Photoshop class
