warren zevon at the paramount in seattle in 1976 - I was 2.

What was the first album you remember buying?

How did you come to work at Kill Rock Stars?
tobi went on tour with the frumpies in the spring of 1994 and needed a mailorder sub while she was gone. when she came back I stayed on as I was the only one who would answer the phone. from there I started radio promotion, ads, publicity, etc.

What do you do at KRS?
I think you can say I have three titles for the time being: vice president of A+R, director of west coast operations, and head of marketing. basically it means I handle a ton of different things, which is the answer to the below question.

What do you like best about your job?
that it's always a challenge, it's always interesting, and I am somewhat autonomous.

the legend - I'm not like that from the yeah! fest comp

human comedy by william saroyan

How do you feel about the United States Postal Service?
I am not too happy with them currently as they seriously jacked up prices for cd mailings. bogus!

When was the last time you did karaoke and why?
why, last week in SF! I guess I did it in the spirit of good times, camaraderie, and community.

When was the last time you played music live, and was it in a freeform noise band?
it was a few weeks ago here in portland with leti angel. it wasn't meant to be a freeform noise show but it sort of turned out to be! next show is romancing with marnie stern so that will definitely freeform and ridiculous.

When was the last time you ate pizza, and what was on it?
on saturday night - we made it at home and it had my mom's homemade eggplant parmesan on top. yum!

What was the last live band you saw and when?
thao nguyen at the bottom of the hill in SF last monday night

Who is playing soon that you are looking forward to seeing?
panther tomorrow and marnie stern on thursday!
