Signs to KRS + new single + video!
"Lesibu Grand is making pop music that's more punk than most punk!"
If It's Too Loud

"...a hook-driven, post-punk tune featuring angular guitar stabs, a propulsive drum pattern, a chugging motorik-like groove and atmospheric synths serving as a lush bed for Molton’s punchily defiant vocal."
The Joy of Violent Movement
Join us in welcoming Lesibu Grand to our KRS family! We are thrilled to announce their debut album, Triggered, is set to release 8/16. Album pre-orders are available now, along with their new single and video, “Anarchy!” Directed by Nathan DuCongé, the Jetsons-themed official video features Retrofuturism, Googie architecture, and a healthy dose of rebellion!

In the creation of Triggered, Lesibu Grand ventured into a profound musical journey, navigating creativity, collaboration, and compromise. Over three years, amidst challenges and triumphs, the band crafted an album that reflects society's complexities. Led by vocalist Tyler-Simone Molton and bassist John Renaud, with guitarist Brian Turner, drummer Lee Wiggins, and keyboardist Warren Ullom, each song delves into raw emotions and societal commentary. From tumultuous relationships to yearnings for change, the album resonates with a common sentiment of being "triggered"—a feeling of being in “fight or flight”. Recorded in sections, Triggered showcases dedication and meaningful collaboration.

"Anarchy," a standout track from Lesibu Grand's album Triggered, embodies defiance in the face of chaos. Conceived during the uncertainty of the pandemic, the song confronts inept leadership and oppressive systems with unapologetic rebellion. Through introspective lyrics and infectious melodies, "Anarchy" channels the collective desire for personal freedom and societal change. As the band explores the complexities of individuality and the pursuit of liberation, listeners are invited to join in the defiant anthem against injustice and tyranny. With its raw energy and unbridled passion, the track serves as a rallying cry for those seeking to break free from the chains of conformity and embrace the spirit of revolution.

Lesibu Grand (pronounced Le-SEE-boo Grand) is a new wave-inspired indie rock band from Atlanta that grew out of a songwriting partnership between singer Tyler-Simone Molton and bassist John Renaud. The band takes its influences from the NYC new wave scene, particularly Blondie, The B-52s and The Go Gos, and from 90s rockers such as Pixies and Nirvana.  Distinguished by Tyler-Simone’s warm, ethereal vocal style, Lesibu Grand fuses these two strains into a refreshingly modern sound in songs that explore the unexpected joys, sharp anxieties, and beguiling mysteries that abound us all.
