Out now on KRS Nashville, Seán Barna's new EP Internal Trembling. The visceral, intense performances Seán has become known for are brought to life by the evocative honesty of his songwriting, rooted in a vulnerable, intimate relationship with the audience. On Internal Trembling, stripped of any hint of the glam or roots rock influences from his previous recordings, Seán demonstrates how comfortable he has become with the raw honesty that defines him as a songwriter.

Today, in celebration of the EP's release, Seán unveils the official video for "Firefly," directed by Diego Molina. As with every track on Internal Trembling, "Firefly" features the talents of Kill Rock Stars alumni Mirah.
Seán on his latest offering, "Firefly": "I fell in love with someone. He fell in love with me. We exchanged sweaters and the sweetest kisses. Together, we shared deep vulnerability and sensuality. In the midst of overwhelming love for each other, we navigated some tough circumstances without the grace or kindness that such love deserves. I certainly did not treat him with the reverence I have for him. It was, and remains, immensely painful.

From that well of love, we eventually found forgiveness and gratitude. I won’t say more, only that I remain deeply in love with him. He knows it, and he’s heard the song. He knows he’s my favorite thing, and I’m not sure if I’ll ever be in the same room with him again. I am sure I will never be the same again."
