Seán Barna joins Kill Rock Stars + shares passionate pop anthem

Seán Barna, the most recent addition to Kill Rock Stars, is a defining voice in the art of queer storytelling. From his first release, Cutter Street, an EP of notable introspection and intensity, through his newest single, “Everyone’s a Queen on Halloween”, Barna has developed an exacting, penetrative lyrical style and vocal delivery that meticulously dissects the darker corners of the queer experience.

For just over four incredibly danceable minutes, “Everyone’s a Queen on Halloween” challenges us to exist passionately, without artifice, and without giving oxygen to doubt and fear. It’s a song inspired by the freedom of Halloween – the one day of the year where everyone believes in ghosts.
