zannie - single + video

zannie has a new track and video out now- "for a while" features a dinosaur suit, forest creatures, boat names inspired by the album title, and lets the past burn to replenish the new. 

On the song, zannie sings about a man running around a Nascar track, as well as their desire to “summon up a demon and try to fuck the moon.” There’s pedal steel and keys that gurgle like water in a bog. If you’re not in a haunted swamp, the song is the kind of music you’d want to hear preferably while driving fast with the windows down, sun on your skin, wind in your hair.

"for a while" is taken from their upcoming album, How Do I Get That Star. The debut album comes out August 19.
